Professor Dawn Johnsen will discuss the complex impacts of this year’s legal and political developments on the status of women and women’s rights in America.
Dawn Johnsen has taught constitutional law at the IU Maurer School of Law since 1998. She also has served as the Acting Assistant Attorney General heading the Office of Legal Counsel at the U.S. Department of Justice, on the transition teams for Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, as the Legal Director of NARAL Pro-Choice America, and as an attorney at the ACLU. She’s a graduate of Yale College and Yale Law School.
