All individuals wishing to volunteer with Middle Way House must first attend an 8 hour general volunteer training. We host these trainings seven times each year.
All of our volunteer trainings are scheduled from 9AM-5PM and are held at the Bloomington Transit Center’s Multipurpose Room, unless otherwise noted on our website.
Participants only need to bring pen and pencil. You can also complete the volunteer application either in advance, or during the break at training. The application can be located on the Middle Way House website by clicking on “Take Action” and then “Volunteer Training”.
Free parking is available along Washington, Lincoln, and Grant Streets, and the parking garage at 4th and Walnut is 50 cents per hour.
